At the same time, it is not a comfortable thing to change your lifestyle overnight to lose fat and welcome frustrations if it doesn’t work. No disagreement on those two! 1. food label Reduce your calories gradually. You cannot start a strict diet or a rigorous exercise all of a sudden. Doing so will drain you off your nutrition and zap you out. Fatigue and hunger will take their toll and your weight loss dreams may not come true. A restricted diet would tell your body to store fat during starvation, use up muscle tissue and lower metabolism. It is better not to let your body know that you have started dieting. 2. Having variety is always interesting. But what if all of it serves the same purpose? Running, walking or jogging would burn the same number of calories all the same if you do it consistently. Stick on to whatever exercise you are comfortable with to help your weight loss plan without looking out for strenuous activities that may stress you out. Begin with a small plan for maximum effect and increase it gradually and consistently.
  3. dumbbell To elevate your metabolism level, do intense strength training at least once a week. You need to save your muscle mass which decline as you age, for optimum energy production. Remember that a pound of muscle burns 100 calories a day. That means as you build up more muscle more fat will be burnt up.
