Belly fat is a common headache for many of us. Women are also worried about their hips and thighs. Fatty tummy not only makes your waistband tight it also jeopardizes your fitness. Obesity and heavy abdomens invite diseases like Heart disease, Diabetes, High blood pressure, Breast cancer, Bladder problems, Metabolic syndrome and Colorectal cancer. Spot training is a bad idea as a remedy to abdomen fat as it does not work single-handedly. To lose belly fat and build an attractive 6-pack there are many cardios and many “ab” prefixed exercise routines. Certain things that may help you reduce your weight and waist are

  1. A diet of whole grains are recommended by some health experts.
  2. A balanced diet always work for good reasons. Believe in it more than in those ‘health’ foods. Take fruits and reduce dairy products and carb foods.
  3. Moderate intensity daily exercise. Ab machines are less effective in flattening your belly. Brisk walking and aerobics can be effective.
  4. Tummy toning works much better than the sit-ups and cardios. It can firm your deeper and lower abdominal muscles by ‘tummy hollowing’ and by pelvic tilts and lifts.
  5. Strength training can also contribute in a positive way than fat-burner bills.
  6. Hold in your belly whenever you can in the day. As you sit in your work place, sit up straight and try to pull in your belly muscles.
  7. Stretch. Do back bending stretches.
  8. People advocate meditation and yoga too.
  9. Sleep well at night.

Yet, after all your effort if you don’t see immediate results do not curse me. The fatter your tummy the quicker will be your results. But do not expect an overnight miracle.
