Water helps in many ways. You know that water facilitates the removal of waste and toxins from the body. Drinking sufficient water would remove any extra fat deposit from your body. Water helps the functions of both kidney and liver. Kidney will not function properly without water and will pass on its load of work to its comrade, the liver. Liver is much like us, humans. It cracks under pressure. With so much workload, liver will fail to metabolize all the fat and store up some much of it in the body. Drinking less water means dehydration which in turn means water retention or oedema. Though small but metabolism rate does increase with an increase in the water intake. In fact, you get to burn 3% of calories without actually doing anything.
