Water can help maintain your body weight and can keep the calories under check. Yet, water is normally taken for granted. We leave the tap open while brushing and shamelessly flush out gallons of it every day. And we don’t drink tap water . We run for bottled waters, mineral water and buy Brita water filters! We realize the taste and value of water only when we are denied water for a while.

Water is the only thing you don’t have to worry about. It has zero calories. But what if the same water can help you lose weight? More than half of the human body consists of water. And your body requires at least 10-12 glasses of water everyday. If your body doesn’t get enough water, sometimes, the brain sends wrong signals making you feel hungry instead of thirsty. So drinking water at that time will curb the hunger and save you from gaining more weight.

  • Your body needs water for a variety of functions like maintaining the body fluids, blood circulation, for oxygen supply, digestion and regulating body temperature. Studies show that toxins in the body gets accumulated in the fat cells. And high toxicity in the body makes the body store more fat. And detoxification is necessary to help fat leave the premises.
