You don’t have to lose hope if you can’t make it to your gym everyday. Some of us workaholics who can’t find time for ourselves. A friend of mine is so particular about his routine that he attends his meetings from the gym while another cannot force himself to put on his sneakers for a cozy evening walk. We have all kinds of people living amidst us.
- TV is one of the biggest culprits in stealing away your time, irrespective of your age and sex. If you can just manage to throw away your remote you can lose 20% of your weight by getting away to browse through the channels. Well, that’s not the main point. It is not mandatory that you have to watch TV sitting down on your luxurious couch. Do a few abdominal crunches as you watch your favorite action movie, do a 20 hip lifts or even do a dozen sit ups! I am serious. You just helped yourself lose a few dangerous calories and are your first step to lose weight.
- Help your spouse clean the kitchen! Well, cleaning and activities like scrubbing the sink exerts pressure on your hands and burn calories. Do any such physical activity once a week. You have a happy body and a happier family.
- Walk briskly once in a while in your office. You won’t end up with ugly flabs.
- Walk, walk, walk. Whenever you get a chance use your legs. Climb the stairs, walk around to the shops and stroll after lunch and dinner. A walk after lunch relaxes your mind and helps it to unload your worries. And a whiff of fresh air is enlivening. A walk after dinner helps your digestion while a good walk before can check overeating.
